The School of Business Administration is one of the strongest business schools in China. It initiated a Master of Business Administration program in 2003. In 2005, its business administration program was approved as a key discipline in Zhejiang Province and a specially-funded undergraduate program in 2009. The same year the School started its MBA professional program and the next year a first-level MBA academic program was inaugurated, offering masters’ degree courses in technological and economic management, population, resources and environmental economics in addition to business management.
The School consists of 5 departments, offering 7 undergraduate programs in business administration, marketing, human resource administration, logistics management, project management, economic management in agriculture and forestry, and urban, rural planning and management. It also offers a joint doctoral program in economics in association with the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2013, the Research Center for China Science Evaluation (RCCSE) of Wuhan University ranked our business administration and logistics management programs as “five-star”. In RCCSE’s nationwide rankings of undergraduate program competitiveness, our business administration and logistics management stood at tenth and seventh respectively.
The School faculty is widely known for their innovative research in organizational behavior, management decision-making, consumption behavior, and resource development and utilization. They are committed to turning out high-caliber economic management personnel.
