Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics, formerly known as Zhejiang College of Public Finance and Banking, was founded in 1974. In 1987, the university was renamed as Zhejiang Institute of Finance and Economics with the approval of the former State Education Commission. Then in 2013, approved by the Ministry of Education, the university officially adopted the new name Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics (ZUFE). Our university was authorized to confer bachelor's degree (in 1991), master's degree (in 2003), doctoral degree in "National Special Needs Services Personnel Training Project" (in 2012), post-doctoral program (in 2014), and doctoral degree (in 2018).
