Recently, Shanghai Ranking announced its Top Chinese Discipline Ranking for 2020, with seven of ZUFE's disciplines being selected in the list. Among them, Applied Economics has once again ranked among the top 10% of the best disciplines in China, climbing 7 places from the previous year; Statistics is listed in the top 20%, with 4 spots higher than last year; Business Administration, Public Administration, Management Science and Engineering ranks the top 30%; and Law as well as Foreign Language and Literature are also in the top 50% of the list again.

Top Chinese Disciplines Ranking consists of 5 index categories concerning talent training, scientific research projects, achievements and awards, academic papers, and high-end talents, with 16 index dimensions and 50 measurement indicators included. All data are concluded from trusted third authorities like the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and Literature Databases here and abroad.
