On June 6, the curtain of the 2021 China MPAcc Students' Case Competition opened. The team, consisting of ZUFE's MPAcc postgraduates Ziyan Zhang, Luyao Zhan, Ying Zhang, Danhui Zhao, Linzhen Zhu, Jiaying Zhu from the School of Accounting and their instructors Mingmin Luo, Yuheng Zhao, and Xiaodong Chen, won the third prize in this national contest and broke the record of zero breakthrough of the university in this competition.
The match this year had seven sites across the country, where it attracted nearly 18,000 students from 241 colleges and universities to participate. The first stage of the preliminary contest mainly focused on proposing solutions based on a given case. In the second stage, all participating teams, centered on the direction of the "Enterprise's Internal Control and Risk Management against the Background of Big Data", were required to select an appropriate company to conduct on-the-spot research, collect and organize the materials, write cases and give resolutions, and finally create a complete work for case study. The semi-final and the final mainly paid attention to the debate on the cases of the second stage. After exciting on-site case presentations, taking turns asking questions among teams, free debates, and proposing questions by judges, ZUFE's postgraduates' team finally took the third place.
