Recently, the Office of the Zhejiang Provincial Academic Degree Committee has announced the reviewing results of 2021 master's dissertations in Zhejiang Province. The good rate at ZUFE was 81.26%, ranking fifth among the 21 universities with master’s degree authorization participating in anonymous review, and the third among the 12 key universities in Zhejiang Province.

In 2021, 1,400 master's dissertations were selected for review in Zhejiang, of which 22 were identified as excellent, 1,084 were rated as good and 18 were deemed to be polished. In a word, the combined average of excellent and good accounted for 79% of the total. 32 master’s dissertations from ZUFE were taken into review, among which one was rated as excellent and 25 as good. It is worth mentioning that there was no problem dissertation.

In recent years, ZUFE has made efforts to improve the dissertation quality assurance system and formulated a series of rules, including Measures for Handling the Results of Sample Review of Doctoral and Master's Degree Dissertations of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics. All graduate dissertations are reviewed by inspection platform of the Ministry of Education. It calls for regarding tutors as the "first responsible person" in the process of graduate training, improving the quality of graduate dissertations.
