Time:April 27, 2022  clicks:

Recently, the results of the 13th "Hundred Excellent Management Cases in China", sponsored by the China National MBA Education Supervisory Committee, have been announced. The ZUFE project -- From MIS to Industrial Brain: The Road to Digital Advancement of Wolong, applied by Professor Dai Weiqi and his team from the School of Business Administration -- has been awarded the key project. This is the first time that our university has been approved for such a project.

"Hundred Excellent Management Cases in China" is recognized by domestic academia as "The Highest Awards for Management Cases". In 2012, "The Third Round of Subject-Evaluation System" released by the Ministry of Education officially included it in the evaluation criteria (C5). The establishment of the key projects of "Hundred Excellent Management Cases in China" aims to better guide, promote, and coordinate the development of Chinese enterprise cases, to attract and mobilize universities, enterprises, and relevant research institutions to summarize and analyze the focused phenomena, main problems and key factors in enterprise practice, to obtain original achievements with practical significance and theoretical value, and to improve and promote the study on the enterprise-case teaching, all of which will contribute to the development of Chinese enterprises and social economy.

Zhejiang is a pioneer of reform and opening up. "Four-Thousand Spirit" and "New Four-Thousand Spirit", which refer to strenuous business spirit and work as positive guidance for business people, have bred so much advanced management practice. These years, we have thoroughly implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping's thoughts of "Telling China's stories" and "Combining theory with practice". Teachers and students are encouraged to take root in China's management practice, conduct in-depth research in enterprises, refine China's local management theories through case studies, and cultivate new business talent through case teaching. The establishment of this key project will further promote our faculty's case teaching ability and research skill to a new high, help to yield more and better case fruit, and contribute to telling "China's stories" to boost economic and social development.
