On May 11, ievaluation (Chinese University Alumni Association or CUAA at www.cuaa.net), a third-party Chinese university evaluation and research institute, announced "China's Top Contributing Scholars List for 2022". ZUFE has five professors on the list, including Professor Wang Junhao, Li Jinchang, Li Yongyou, Wang Liping, and Chen Huixiong, ranking 9th among universities of finance and economics. Professor Wang Junhao was awarded six prizes, ranking 12th among scholars from China's comprehensive universities and tying for the top spot on the list among scholars from universities of finance and economics in China.
As a third-party university evaluation and research institute, ievaluation is widely recognized for its high credibility and has released the CUAA Chinese University Ranking for twenty years in a row. In this year's evaluation, the indicator of "China's Top Contributing Scholars" was proposed for the first time in China. The introduction of this indicator into the 2022 CUAA Ranking Evaluation Indicator System aims to rectify the problems of overemphasizing the role of research papers and prioritizing science over liberal arts in university ranking practice in China.
