Recently, the final of the 4th “Guodi Cup” National College Students’ Land Survey Competition came to an end. He Yuyue, Song Wenjia and Cao Shuyi sophomores of Public Administration Class 2 of the School of Public Administration (under the guidance of Professor Wu Shaohua) advanced to the finals and won the first prize with their entry “Analysis of the Transformation and Utilization of Ecological Resources by Qiangcun Company to Promote Rural Income and Rural Revitalization.”
Themed “National Land Space Governance and Rural Revitalization,” this competition attracted 204 teams from 102 universities including Renmin University of China, Sun Yat-sen University, China Agricultural University, and Sichuan University. A total of 48 teams reached the finals after a hard-fought competition.
The National College Students’ Land Survey Competition is an important event sponsored by the Teaching Guidance Committee for Public Administration Majors in the Institution of Higher Learning of the Ministry of Education, hosted by the Land Economy Branch of the China Land Science Society, and the Science Popularization Committee, and co-hosted by industry-related businesses. It aims to guide teachers and students in relevant disciplines to take improving the national land space governance system and comprehensively promoting rural revitalization as their responsibility, requires them to deepen frontline practice so that they can produce fruitful papers and useful survey results around the nation, and promotes the innovative development of theory and practice in land and natural resource management.
