ZUFE Students Make Further Achievements in Zhejiang College Students Arts Festival

The 2022 Zhejiang College Students Art Festival was recently held in Wenzhou. After a hard-fought competition, Zufers clinched three first prizes for “Faraway Mountain is not Far” and “Fragrance of Jasmine” from the Dance Team of the Art Troupe and “Gift You a Rose” from the Ivy League Drama Club, one second prize for “Unusual Me” from the Street Dance Team, and two third prizes for “Anti-Fraud Bank” and “STAR” from the Ivy League Drama Club. ZUFE was awarded the Excellent Organization Award.

Themed National Soul and Chinese Dream, this years art festival, created around the core socialist values, promoted traditional Chinese culture, and cultivated students artistic sentiments through artworks. A total of 647 programs, including dance, drama, and songs were selected from 98 universities in Zhejiang province, of which 155 programs were shortlisted for live performances. As the largest and most influential college student art festival in Zhejiang province, it is a display of the achievements of aesthetic education in universities and colleges across Zhejiang, providing a platform for them to showcase their vitality and artistic talents as well as enhance their overall quality.

In recent years, centering on the fundamental task of cultivating students with virtue and character, ZUFE has adhered to educating students with beauty and fine culture and integrated practicing socialist core values into the whole process of aesthetic education to gradually build a public art education system that benefits all. Through this, students can establish correct aesthetic concepts, cultivate noble moral sentiments and profound national emotions, stimulate imagination and innovation consciousness, and broaden their horizons to further all-around development of moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education, and make contributions to the construction of first-class ZUFE characteristics.
