On September 13, a delegation from Fukui Prefectural University paid a visit to ZUFE. Li Zhanrong, vice president of ZUFE, welcomed the visiting guests, with the heads of the School of Foreign Languages, the School of Economics, and the International Office in attendance.
Li Zhanrong stated that since the establishment of a friendly partnership between the two universities in 1994, a series of activities had been held such as teacher and student exchanges, and academic communication through pragmatic cooperation. He also expressed his hope for the further collaboration on higher education and the promotion of more student and teacher exchanges, thus elevating the cooperative relationship to new heights.
Zheng Haidon, professor of the School of Economics at Fukui Prefectural University, reviewed the history of collaboration between the two universities. He expected that both sides would further deepen their collaboration and strengthen exchanges in areas such as teacher and student visits, talent cultivation, and teaching and research, which, he believed, would lead to mutual complementarity and win-win collaboration.
Following the meeting, the delegation had an in-depth exchange and reached preliminary agreements with the heads of the School Foreign Languages, and the School of Economics. During their visit, the delegation also had the opportunity to tour ZUFE's Library of Nobel Prize in Economics and the Library of Sun Yefang Economics Science Prize.
