Recently, the final round of China Postgraduate Fintech Innovation Competition was held in Beijing. Following a fierce competition, ZUFE's Xunhai Shibei team, composed of postgraduate students Chen Xi, Wu Mian, Ma Kejia, Shao Zhanpeng, Wang Wenzhuo, and Jiang Yixian, secured the national first prize. Huang Wenli and Liu Lei received the Outstanding Tutor Award.

This competition attracted 453 teams with over 2,600 students and teachers from 144 educational institutions across China. Centered on the theme of fintech innovation, it aimed to motivate postgraduate students to explore the forefront of interdisciplinary innovation and focus on the strategic needs of national development. Students were also encouraged to solve practical problems within China's fintech domain in a creative way while enhancing their capabilities in practice and innovation, so as to provide intellectual support and talents to facilitate the high-quality development of financial technology in China.

As a new addition to the 2022 China Postgraduate Innovation & Practice Competitions, the China Postgraduate Fintech Innovation Competition was organized by the Department of Degree Management & Postgraduate Education of the Ministry Department, the National Supervisory Committee for Professional Degrees in Finance, and the Technology Department of the People's Bank of China, and was hosted by the Association of Chinese Graduate Education along with the Children & Youth Science Center of China Association for Science and Technology.
