The 2023 edition of the China Academic Journals International Citation Annual Report was unveiled at the 4th China Academic Journals International Influence High-Level Forum. Collected Essays on Finance and Economics was recognized as an "Outstanding Academic Journal of China with International Influence" (TOP 5%-10 %) for the first time.

This report, a collaborative effort between CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) and Tsinghua University Library, meticulously tracks and records the citations of Chinese academic journals by international publications. It serves as an authoritative indicator of the global reach and discursive power of China's scholarly output.

The 2023 edition of the report identifies the top-performing journals by their Citation Index (CI). Journals that fall within the top 5% are designated as the "Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals in China", and those ranking between the top 5% and 10% are recognized as "Outstanding Academic Journals of China with International Influence", including international journals, conference proceedings, and books, with a total of 23,572 international source journals considered. The report encompasses data on the international citation of 6,888 Chinese academic journals.
