On January 7, Wei Shen, Vice President of Deakin University in Australia, visited ZUFE. Xiaodong Xu, Vice President of ZUFE, met with the visitors cordially. Heads of the School of Accounting, School of Business Administration, School of Information Management and Artificial Intelligence, School of Data Sciences and International Office attended the meeting.

On behalf of the university, Xiaodong Xu extended a warm welcome to the guests. He said that after the early video conferences between the two universities, the two universities' contacts and exchanges have become increasingly close, and the intention of cooperation has been continuously strengthened. He hopes to beef up cooperation in the future in disciplines such as artificial intelligence, data sciences and economic management, and to work together to carry out in-depth cooperation in running school and joint talent training.

Mr. Shen introduced the basic situation, competitive majors and international cooperation of Deakin University. He said that the disciplines of the two universities are well matched, and he hopes to carry out practical cooperation in the fields of talent training, cooperative schooling, and academic research in the future.

After the meeting, the two sides also had extensive exchanges on Sino-Foreign cooperative schooling, cooperation in undergraduate and master programs, as well as professional accreditation.

During the visit, Mr. Shen and his delegation also visited the university's smart classrooms, library, big data laboratory, information office, and School of International Education & Studies.
