On December 2, Ulan Nukhitzhan, the representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan in China and Educational Counselor, and Baglan Zholdakhmet, the Vice Director of the Political Office of the Embassy, visited the university. Vice president Zhanrong Li met with the visitors cordially.
On behalf of the university, Mr. Li welcomed the guests and introduced the university's international education and exchanges with Kazakhstan. He said, in recent years, China and Kazakhstan have developed friendly and cooperative relations and had increasingly closer cultural exchanges. He hoped that in the future, ZUFE could carry out deeper cooperation in academic exchanges, scientific research, culture and art with the help of the ZUFE Kazakhstan Economic and Social Research Center, and help promote educational cooperation and people-to-people communication in China and Kazakhstan.
Ulan expressed his gratitude to the university for its warm reception and the all-round care and protection provided to international students during the pandemic and affirmed the achievements made by ZUFE Kazakhstan Economic and Social Research Center. He said that he was willing to provide assistance to the practical cooperation between ZUFE and more universities and institutions in Kazakhstan, and to build a bridge for educational cooperation between China and Kazakhstan.
During the visit, the delegation also visited the ZUFE Kazakhstan Economic and Social Research Center and had a discussion with some Kazakhstan students studying at ZUFE.
