On January 3, the 4-day China Swimming Championships at Shijiazhuang Station came to an end. Junyi He, a student from Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics (ZUFE), performed well and won the men's 100m freestyle final in 48.57 seconds. His score reached the Standard A of Olympic Games, and he surely gained the qualification for the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games. After participating in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, this is the second time for high-level swimming athletes at ZUFE to have been qualified for the Olympic Games.
Junyi He is an undergraduate student of the School of Business Administration, majoring in Marketing. He participated in the Jakarta Asian Games 2018 on behalf of the Chinese team and won the champion in men's 4×100 m mixed relay. In the 2019 National Swimming Championships and World Championships Trials, he set the record of the best result of 48.10 seconds in the Chinese men's 100 m freestyle in the 100 m "Flying Fish" competition at the time.
