From July 17 to 23, at the invitation of Mendel University in the Czech Republic and Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata,” Xiaodong Xu, the head of the publicity department of the school, led a delegation to visit these two universities and inspected Charles University in the Czech Republic. And they also went to Budejovice Institute of Technology and Business to visit Lu Wang from ZUFE Information Engineering School, who was visiting the university.
During the visit to Mendel University in the Czech Republic, the delegation was warmly greeted by Dr. Eva Taterová, Vice Dean of Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies. The general situation of Mendel University and the cooperative projects of major system, doctors, masters, and undergraduates of the Business School were introduced to the delegation. The two parties discussed student exchanges, teacher visits, academic exchanges, doctor's and master's project cooperation, continuing education training, etc., and signed a letter of intent for cooperation.
At Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata,” the delegation was warmly entertained by Professor Gustavo Piga, Rector's Delegate for Public and International Relations, and Dr. Damiano Pinnacchio, Director of International Relations Office, and were introduced to the general situation and characteristics of the university as well as its future development goals. The two parties conducted extensive and in-depth exchanges on matters such as undergraduate “2+2” projects, master's degree cooperation projects, and jointly bid for Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions, etc. They also signed a memorandum of cooperation.
In order to extend his gratitude to Mendel University and the Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata” for their warm reception, Mr. Xu gave a detailed introduction of ZUFE's history, the characteristics of disciplines, enrollment and employment and international cooperation. The delegation also visited Mendel University and the campus of Università degli Studi di Roma “Tor Vergata.” Thanks to their advanced teaching conditions, sound campus environment, and rich learning environment, the delegation had a profound impression.
During the visit and inspection, the delegation also visited Charles University, and was warmly greeted by Dr. Sergey Slobodyan, Dean of the Economics Institute. They carried out a wide range of in-depth communication with respect to cooperation and training of students, exchange visits of teachers, etc. In addition, the delegation went to the Budejovice Institute of Technology and Business to visit teacher Wang of ZUFE's Electronic and Computer Engineering School who is visiting the school and conducting cooperative research.
The visit of the school delegation has enhanced ZUFE's understanding of higher education in Central European countries, expanded the cooperation channels between ZUFE and Central European universities and exerted a far-reaching influence on further expanding exchanges and cooperation between ZUFE and Central European universities and promoting the internationalization of education.
