Recently, ZUFE president Xiaomin Zhong led a delegation to visit the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Rio de Janeiro, Fluminense Football Club in Brazil, and many universities and colleges in Brazil and Chile.

At the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Rio de Janeiro, the delegation was warmly welcomed by Consul General Yang Li and the Board of Directors members of Chinese schools in Brazil. Mr. Zhong expressed his gratitude to Yang Li for his efforts to promote the cooperation and exchanges between ZUFE and Brazilian universities and colleges as well as that between ZUFE and the football circle. Zhong emphasized that cultivating high-quality talents with financial knowledge and humanitarian sentiments is in line with ZUFE’s orientation. The promotion of cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and Brazil complies with the goal of ZUFE. Given which, ZUFE would like to make efforts to this end. Li pointed out that the cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and Brazil requires a wide participation of universities and colleges. He hoped that ZUFE would give full play to its advantages and make more contributions to the cultural exchanges between China and Brazil.

At Fluminense Football Club, President Zhong and his colleagues received a warm reception from its Chairman Pedro Abad. The two parties negotiated on the appointment of coaches of Fluminense Football Club as teachers in ZUFE and signed a memorandum of cooperation. Afterwards, the delegation visited the club museum and Sherem Football school, inspected the football fields and training auxiliary facilities, and had in-depth and friendly conversations with its coaches, managers, and athletes.

During its stay in Brazil, the delegation of ZUFE also visited Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the University of Fabi. Parties exchanged views on teaching, scientific research cooperation, and artistic communication, discussed the possibility of cooperation, and reached a consensus on cooperation.

President Zhong and his colleagues visited The Andres Bello National University (UNAB) in Chile. The two parties conducted in-depth discussions on Spanish teaching, student summer programs, and exchange students programs, and reached an agreement on cooperation.
