Recently, China National MPAcc Education Steering Committee announced the results of the National MPAcc Excellent Dissertation Award for 2020. Among them were the academic dissertations Study on Optimization of Comprehensive Budget Management of Company A Based on Strategic Orientation (Supervisors: Jingxuan Yu, Guoxiong Cao), written by Yaowen Zhang, a 2020 MPAcc graduate of ZUFE School of Accounting, and Xing Lu's Strategic Change and Corporate Performance in the Process of Family Business Inter-generational Inheritance: A Case Study Based on "Fuyao Glass" (Supervisors: Qi Fu & Yanhua Hu). Meanwhile, ZUFE won the Outstanding Organization Award.

The National MPAcc Excellent Dissertation Award is sponsored and organized by China National MPAcc Education Steering Committee. It is held once a year. Each of the more than 260 training institutions across the country is allowed to submit one to two articles for evaluation. After a formal review, the submitted dissertations will go through an off-premise anonymous evaluation, and an on-premise evaluation by experts assembled at a formal meeting. The finalized list is approved and announced by the Education Steering Committee. 20 outstanding dissertations and two excellent dissertation organization awards were finally conferred in 2020.

So far, six theses from ZUFE have won the award. In addition, ZUFE won the Excellent Organization Award for the National MPAcc Excellent Dissertation Award for the second time. ZUFE stands out among universities with MPAcc training programs nationwide for both the number of dissertations conferred the said award, and the frequency of winning such awards at this university were among the best in higher institutions with MPAcc training programs.
