ZUFE’s Two Achievements Are Awarded as the Outstanding Achievements and Best Cases at CTTI 2022

Recently, the 2022 New Think Tank Governance Forum was held both online and offline in Nanjing, where the outstanding achievements and best cases of CTTI 2022 were announced. The Institute of Chinese Governmental Studies and Public Policy (ICGSPP), ZUFE’s new provincial key think tank, received two awards at CTTI 2022. Its submission of “Research on Energy Low-Carbon Transformation and Energy Security Policy in China” won the Special Award for Excellent Think Tank Achievement, while “Organic Integration of Government, Industry, University, Research and Application: High-Quality Construction of Governmental Regulation Think Tank with Chinese Characteristics” won the Best Model Case for Think Tank Development.

The Research on Energy Low-Carbon Transformation and Energy Security Policy in China is a collaborative effort by Professor Wang Junhao, Director of the ICGSPP, and Professor Qiu Baoxing, Chief Expert of the Institute. The Research conducted a thematic study on China's energy low-carbon transformation development and energy security supply, providing important theoretical support and policy guidance for the development and implementation of energy low-carbon transformation and security supply policies in China.

Based on Economics of Regulation, the discipline with distinctive advantages and institutional development, the “Organic Integration of Government, Industry, University, Research and Application: High-Quality Construction of Governmental Regulation Think Tank with Chinese Characteristics” emphasizes the integration of multiple disciplines and aims to promote innovation in the Chinese government's regulatory system. It has been continuously innovating in talent introduction, expert resource aggregation, and talent cultivation to build an organic operating mechanism of “government-industry-university-research-application” integration. Focusing on major theoretical and practical issues related to the economic and social development of Zhejiang Province and the country as a whole, the think tank offers suggestions and advice for advancing the modernization of the national governance system and governance capabilities.
