Upon invitation by University of Presov in Slovak Republic, a delegation led by Wang Kuiquan, a member of ZUFE's Party Committee and vice president of ZUFE, visited the university and attended the 8th International Seminar on Economics, Management, and Business. Professor Li Yongyou, deputy director of ZUFE's Academic Committee, and the heads of the School of Public Finance and Taxation and the Graduate School accompanied the delegation.
Robert Stefko, dean of the School of Management at University of Presov, and Vice Dean Eva Benkova, warmly welcomed the delegation. The two parties had an in-depth discussion on exchange visits of faculties and students, as well as the joint programme of graduate students, and made a commitment to advancing academic collaboration in the field of economics, with the purpose of enhancing communication and collaboration in high-level international academic conferences.
During the visit, the delegation attended the 8th International Seminar on Economics, Management, and Business. This event was guided by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic and hosted by the University of Presov. The faculties of ZUFE, together with over 100 experts and scholars from universities of over 10 Central and Eastern European countries such as the Slovak Republic, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and Romania, as well as from the United States, Italy, Israel, and South Africa, had an in-depth exchange and exploration on challenges, innovative approaches, latest achievements, and applications in the fields of economics, management, and business studies. An English paper, written by a faculty from the School of Public Finance and Taxation, was included in the proceedings and displayed on the poster.
This visit strengthens the academic exchange between ZUFE and its counterparts in Central and Eastern European countries. It is an important step for the university to serve the Belt and Road Initiative education actions. Meanwhile, it is of great significance to promote the internationalization of ZUFE's education and further consolidate and expand the global network of partnerships.
