Vice-Chancellor of Bangor University Visits ZUFE

On October 23, a delegation from Bangor University, including Paul Van Gardingen, Vice-Chancellor, and Gwenan Hine, Director of the General Administration Office, visited ZUFE. Vice President Li Zhanrong met with the visiting guests.

Li Zhanrong, on behalf of ZUFE, extended a warm welcome to the visiting guests. He highly affirmed the achievements of the undergraduate program in finance jointly offered by the two universities in terms of educational and teaching innovation and the quality of talent cultivation. He also expressed a desire to further deepen pragmatic cooperation, to jointly expand Sino-foreign educational cooperation programs in fields such as artificial intelligence and data science, and to promote joint post-graduate education in applied economics such as finance.

Paul Van Gardingen reviewed the history of collaboration between the two universities and expressed his eagerness to promote diversified educational cooperation based on existing collaborative projects, including student exchanges, faculty visits, and academic research.

Following the meeting, the delegation along with the heads of the School of Finance, engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the revision of the program curriculum, faculty allocation, academic registration, grading standards, and other matters related to the Sino-British cooperative undergraduate program in finance. During their visit, the delegation also visited smart classrooms, ZUFE History Museum, and other facilities, accompanied by the heads of the International Office and the School of Finance.
