From August 8 to 16, the 26th China University Tennis Championships (finals) and the 21st "President's Cup" were held in Zigong, Sichuan. After a series of hard fought matches, Zhong Xiaomin, president and deputy secretary of ZUFE's Party Committee, and Yu Jiansen, former deputy secretary of the Party Committee, won the fourth place of the "Presidents Cup" (Group C). Zhu Zimian, Zhang Zichun, Huang Qianshan, and Sheng Erwenqi helped team ZUFE secure the second place among the women's teams (Group A), while Zhu Zimian and Zhang Zichun won the third place (Group A) in the women's doubles.



On behalf of ZUFE, four students participated in the 26th China University Tennis Championships (finals). Under the guidance of Leader Xu Jiawei and Coach Luo Xu, the team members fully demonstrated their spirit of teamwork and perseverance. They advanced as the second place in the group stage of the team event, defeating Central University of Finance and Economics, Wuhan University, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. In the finals, they narrowly lost to Beijing International Studies University and won the second place among women’s teams (Group A). In the doubles of individual events, the team members defeated Jinan University and Southwest University of Finance and Economics to advance to the quarterfinals, defeated Huazhong University of Science and Technology to advance to the semi-finals, and played a flawless tie-break, ultimately winning the third place in doubles (Group A).
Since its debut in 1994, the China University Tennis Championships and "President's Cup" have become the largest and highest profile annual event hosted by the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) over more than 20 years' development. This year's championships was organized by the FUSC. The team events and single events for students and the "President's Cup" for presidents of the universities attracted more than 1,000 faculties and students from 197 universities across the country.
