Recently, the national finals of the 5th "Sozdata Cup" Information Literacy Competition for Universities of Finance and Economics came to an end in Hohhot. ZUFE won one national first prize, one second prize and a best of show award. Also, our university library won the excellent organization award, and Gu Mingzhe and Zang Hongyi were awarded the best instructors.

A total of 14,390 players from 47 universities of finance and economics across the country participated in the competition. After university and national competitions, 61 groups were selected for the national finals, including 39 undergraduate teams and 22 postgraduate teams. The competition was divided into two tracks, one for undergraduates and the other for postgraduates, and was conducted in the form of "online answering + research topic analysis + presentation report". At last, 6 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 19 third prizes, and several excellent prizes as well as 6 individual prizes were finalized.

Debuted in 2017, with the theme of "Information search, knowledge discovery and value creation", the National Information Literacy Competition for Universities of Finance and Economics aims to promote the integration of the concepts and skills of information literacy into the teaching and scientific research of universities of finance and economics across the country, cultivate college students' information awareness, information skills and information sharing ability, and help students know and learn more about information literacy skills, so as to strengthen the publicity and promotion of library resources and services.
