Recently, the 6th China National College Wushu Sanda Championship and the 2nd China National College Short-Weapon and Long-Weapon and Taichi Push Hands Championship, organized by the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC), took place in Anlu, Hubei Province. ZUFE's Wushu team demonstrated exceptional skill and determination, securing an impressive tally of one gold, two silver, and two bronze medals.
After 11 days of intense competition, ZUFE's athletes claimed the championship in the Men's Heavyweight Taichi Push Hands team event, second place in the Men's 80kg Taichi Push Hands, second place in the Men's 100kg Wushu Sanda, third place in the Men's 85kg Taichi Push Hands, and third place in the Men's 80kg Wushu Sanda. In addition to these achievements, ZUFE was honored with the PE Morality Award, with teacher Ying Changda receiving the title of "PE Morality Coach" and students Zheng Shanpeng and Wu Kangjun awarded as "PE Morality Athletes".
The competition featured three major categories: Wushu Sanda, Short-Weapon and Long-Weapon, and Taichi Push Hands, drawing 1,066 athletes from 108 universities across the nation.
