On March 28, Elsevier, a world leading information analysis company, unveiled its annual list of 2022 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers, and four professors from ZUFE, namely Wang Zhoujing, Yang Shuiqing, Liu Weishu, and Peng Yi, were selected into this list.

The list featured 5,216 scholars from 504 universities, enterprises, and research institutions, covering 84 primary disciplines within the 10 research fields designated by the Ministry of Education. Notably, 264 scholars in the field of management were recognized.

The list relies on Elsevier's citation and indexing database, Scopus, as its primary data source and employs a methodology developed by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy. It meticulously analyzes and identifies Chinese scholars at various stages of their research careers from multiple dimensions, systematically showcasing their research achievements.
