A delegation consisting of Lim Siau Shiong, President of the Northern Kuala Lumpur International College (NKLIC), and Wong Yoke Seng, Director of the Research and Innovation Center at Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI), and one other member, paid a visit to ZUFE on March 27. Zheng Yali, Vice President of ZUFE, met with the visiting guests, with the heads of the International Office and the School of International Education and Studies attending the meeting.
She said that last year marked the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, and this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. She also said that ZUFE is willing to carry out practical cooperation with Malaysian universities such as NKLIC and UPSI in faculty-student exchanges and joint international student programs, so as to enhance the China-Malaysia humanistic exchanges.
Lim and Wong respectively presented an overview of NKLIC and UPSI. They expressed their hope that this visit would foster collaboration among the three universities in faculty and student exchanges, joint research endeavors, cultural interactions, and other areas.
During the visit, the delegation visited the ZUFE’s Library of Nobel Prize Collections in Economics, the Library of Sun Yefang Economics Science Prize, and other venues.
