On November 28, Parvinder Arora, dean of the Faculty of Management at Laurentian University, Canada, led a delegation to visit ZUFE. Vice President Zheng Yali warmly received the visiting guests, with the heads of the International Office and School of Accounting.

Zheng, on behalf of ZUFE, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced ZUFE’s recent developments. She highlighted that the joint undergraduate program in Accounting between the two universities has been enrolling students for 13 consecutive years. The program has achieved distinguished accomplishments in introducing high-quality resources, developing an international faculty, and ensuring favorable graduate future, earning high recognition from society and employers. Through this collaboration, the two universities have promoted educational and cultural exchanges and established a deep friendship. Zheng expressed hope that with the signing of the new cooperation agreement, the two universities will further enrich their collaborative efforts and achieve more in fields such as talent cultivation and academic exchange.
Pavinder Arora expressed gratitude for the warm reception and provided an overview of Laurentian University’s recent progress. He mentioned that the joint accounting program has seen steady development in recent years, with students performing exceptionally well during their studies in Canada, earning high praise from both Canadian educational institutions and the local community. Arora emphasized that Laurentian University remains committed to supporting collaboration in joint education, faculty exchange, and co-authored publications, encouraging more Canadian students to participate in exchange programs in China.


During the visit, the delegation from Laurentian University held detailed discussions with the heads of the School of Accounting at ZUFE regarding the revision of the talent cultivation program, curriculum design, faculty allocation, and other key aspects of their collaborative efforts. They also engaged in a symposium with faculty and student representatives involved in the joint program to exchange views and gather feedback.
