On April 14, Vice President Zheng Yali met with the visiting delegation from Queensland University of Technology (QUT), who came to ZUFE to sign the cooperation agreement.
Zheng Yali briefed the guests on ZUFE’s latest progress and international collaborative education initiatives. She stated that ZUFE is actively promoting the construction of a High-level University and the Summit Advanced Discipline, implementing the International Partner Enhancement Program, and expanding practical cooperation with internationally renowned universities. She expressed the hope that this signing would serve as an opportunity to advance the joint training programs between the two universities as soon as possible, and looked forward to fruitful cooperation in talent cultivation, faculty exchanges, and academic collaboration.
Cameron Newton, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business and Law at QUT, presented the university’s business programs and international collaboration efforts. He stated that QUT has included deepening cooperation with Asia-Pacific universities in its future plans and is willing to further advance joint training, research exchanges, and talent introduction with ZUFE.
Fu Wenlin, Dean of the School of Public Finance and Taxation of ZUFE, and Cameron Newton signed the “3+1+1” Joint Master of Business Program on behalf of their respective universities. Representatives from the School of Public Finance and Taxation and the International Office attended the signing ceremony.
Founded in 1908, QUT is a world-renowned public research university. It ranks 189th globally in the QS World University Rankings and boasts Australia’s third-largest student enrolment. Its Business School has secured the world’s coveted Triple Crown accreditation from the three leading global business accreditation bodies. According to the cooperation agreement, ZUFE will jointly establish the “3+1+1” Joint Master of Business Program with QUT Business School based on undergraduate programs in International Taxation and other economics and management disciplines, selecting outstanding undergraduates to pursue a Master of Business degree in Australia, and jointly cultivating innovative talents with a global vision and key business competencies.
