On May 28, Ismanizan Ismail, Director of the Center for Gifted Education Development at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) (UKM) led a delegation to visit ZUFE. Vice President Zheng Yali warmly received the delegation.

On behalf of the university, Vice President Zheng extended a warm welcome to the visiting guests and highlighted ZUFE’s achievements in advancing international education under the “New Finance and Economics” strategy. She noted that the Joint Master of Data Science Program co-organized by the two universities serves as a key platform for deepening China-Malaysia educational exchanges and promoting bilateral digital economy cooperation. She hoped that both sides would take practical measures to ensure student recruitment and training for the program, and strengthen faculty sharing, student reciprocal exchanges and research collaboration, so as to cultivate more high-level talents to support China-Malaysia economic and trade cooperation and the building of a community with a shared future.

Ismanizan Ismail expressed his willingness to expand more cooperation in areas such as joint talent cultivation, faculty training and youth exchanges, so as to boost higher education cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between China and Malaysia.

Heads of the School of Data Sciences and the International Office attended the meeting.
