Recently, the 20th Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition was held at the China Optics Valley Science and Technology Convention and Exhibition Center. ZUFE All-Optical Dormitory Project was honored with the “F5G All-Optical Network Outstanding Case in Education” and awarded a medal.

The “China Optics Valley” International Optoelectronic Exposition is one of China’s highest-standard and most influential professional exhibitions in the optoelectronic information sector. Being included in the International Day of Light’s global activities for the first time, this Expo attracted 390 renowned enterprises from 12 countries and regions, showcasing nearly 100 cutting-edge technological achievements in the optoelectronics field.

The ZUFE All-Optical Dormitory Project innovatively adopts GPON/XGOPON technology, achieving passive design for building extra-low voltage equipment rooms and eliminating potential safety hazards. By connecting user terminals directly via optical fibers, the project reduces the space occupied by extra-low voltage shafts and cable trays. Leveraging the characteristics of optical fibers, it enables seamless network performance upgrades, boasting dual advantages of environmental friendliness and safety and reliability.

Looking ahead, in alignment with the implementation of the “"New Finance and Economics Strategy"” and the goals of the “15th Five-Year Plan”, ZUFE will conduct an in-depth analysis of the current situation and challenges of the campus network. By utilizing optical network technologies, it aims to build a new all-optical campus network architecture, providing robust technical support for optimizing the university’s governance system.
