On November 7, Vice President Zheng Yali met with the visiting delegation led by Vice President Ardak Beisenbai of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

Zheng Yali extended a warm welcome on behalf of the university. She noted that since the formal establishment of cooperation between the two universities in 2018, fruitful results have been achieved in faculty exchanges, academic collaboration, and joint research, making positive contributions to the advancement of China-Kazakhstan educational cooperation and cultural exchanges. She expressed hope that both sides would continue to consolidate existing cooperation, expand joint talent cultivation in economics, international taxation, international business, and other fields, and jointly train internationalized talents to support the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Ardak Beisenbai introduced the recent progress made by the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in program offerings, discipline development, and international cooperation. He stated that the university attaches great importance to deepening exchanges with Chinese universities and is willing to actively advance practical cooperation with our university in joint talent cultivation, youth exchanges, and collaborative research.

During the visit, Aida Zhaiparova, Dean of the School of Economics at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Asem Ilyasova, Dean of the School of Continuing Education, and Adai Seiken, Professor of the School of Economics, held discussions with leaders from our School of Public Finance and Taxation, School of Economics, School of International Education and Studies, and the International Office, as well as relevant program directors and faculty members from the School of Finance and Taxation and School of Economics, to conduct in-depth discussions on collaborative programs, training models, and faculty sharing.
