From July 8th to 10th, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2021 was held in Shanghai. Professor Wenyu Zhang, from ZUFE School of Information Management and Artificial Intelligence, was invited to give a keynote speech at the panel session of "AI Empowers Finance to Create an Era of Financial Intelligence".

Professor Zhang’s talk was titled "Advancement of Digital Intelligence Finance: From Smart Risk Control to Elensdata's Risk Control". He shared Elensdata's financial risk control theory and its applications in smart mobile payment reimbursement control systems. By adopting medical diseases and classification as a metaphor, he explained in plain words Elensdata's financial risk control theory. He believed that, like the prevention and control of COVID-19, financial risk control also requires human-machine collaboration to blow the whistle and obtain permanent immunity. He also demonstrated the "Reimbursement for Every Moment" Expense Control System that is based on Elensdata's risk control theory.

This conference was co-sponsored by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government. More than 6000 professionals participated in the conference online or offline, among whom were distinguished experts, scholars, entrepreneurs and investors in the field of artificial intelligence at home and abroad.
