On April 21, the works by College of Arts graduates were exhibited to the public at the Puhua Theatre. Xu Xiaodong, a member of the ZUFE Party Committee and Vice-president of ZUFE, leaders of relevant departments, all the teachers and graduates from the School of Arts, and alumni representatives attended the opening ceremony.
With the theme of "Setting off from Zhejiang", the exhibition displays over 160 works from four majors: visual presentation design, environmental design, photography, and arts. The works cover the design plan for socio-economic development in rural and urban places, the audio-visual presentation of local cultural elements in Zhejiang, artistic works based on the language of traditional art, and a plan for an exhibition targeted at social aesthetic education. The diversified expressions of art and design reflect students' efforts to explore the art world and to be part of the new era.
The School of Arts will deepen its educational reform and foster talents of higher competence for serving society and boosting the economy of Zhejiang Province. In undergraduate education, all the teachers and students are encouraged to fit into the society and dig into the folk culture as a way to facilitate rural revitalization, common prosperity, and the development of Zhejiang Province with arts and design.
This exhibition is open to the public until April 29. All are welcome!
