On June 10, the High-Quality Development of Sino-Foreign Cooperative Education and New Business Education Talent Cultivation Summit, along with the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Sino-US Cooperative Program in Marketing at ZUFE, was held at Xiasha Campus. Li Zhanrong, vice president of ZUFE, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The conference invited over 400 experts and scholars from across the country, with the aim of exploring the latest developments in Sino-Foreign cooperative education and the cutting-edge concepts and practices of talent cultivation in the field of new business education. Huang Weihua, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Business Administration, presided over the celebration.
On behalf of ZUFE, Li Zhanrong warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and expressed gratitude to people from all walks of life who had long been concerned with and supportive of the development of the Sino-US Cooperative Program in Marketing. He expressed the hope that by taking this celebration as an opportunity, the Sino-US Cooperative Program in Marketing would further promote international talent cultivation, accelerate the integration of disciplines, practice the idea of opening education to the outside world, and cultivate more high-quality marketing professionals with an international perspective, patriotic spirit, and the ability to engage in international affairs and competitions to continuously achieve innovation and breakthroughs in the international cooperation and exchanges in education.
Professor Wang Jianming, dean of the School of Business Administration (SBA), delivered a development report on the 10th anniversary of the Sino-US Cooperative Program in Marketing, titled "Exploration and Innovation of the 'One Core, Dual Wings, and Four-wheel Drive' Talent Cultivation Model in the Sino-US Cooperative Program in Marketing from the Perspective of AACSB Core Competencies". Three experts and scholars, namely Prof. Bai Changhong, dean of the Business School of Nankai University, Prof. Chen Zhangwang from the School of Economics and Management of Fuzhou University, and Prof. Guo Guoqing from Renmin University of China, delivered keynote speeches respectively on the topics of "The Knowledge Gateway of New Practices and Theories", "Innovation in the New Business Education Talent Cultivation Model in the Era of Data Intelligence", and "Exploration of the Outstanding Talents Cultivation System in Chinese Marketing". Alumni representatives Cai Sanglu, Zhang Zixuan, and Zhong Xugang shared their experience from the perspectives of social services, pursuit of further education, and entrepreneurship respectively.
In parallel forums, experts and scholars engaged in lively discussions on topics such as "High-Quality Development of Sino-foreign Cooperative Education and New Business Education Talent Cultivation" and "The Marketing Talent Cultivation Model in Sino-US Cooperative Program from an Alumni Perspective".
This summit aimed to provide a broad platform for idea exchanges between academia and industry. By reviewing the achievements made in the cooperation over the past decade and envisioning future development, the participants collectively explored ways to enhance the quality and effectiveness of joint education programs and cultivate more business talents with international perspectives and innovative capabilities.
