On April 17, Zhejiang's First Teaching Innovation Competition for university teachers came to an end. ZUFE's achievements were gratifying, with the level and number of awards among the best for colleges and universities in Zhejiang Province.
ZUFE teacher Liying Fu's team, from the School of Accounting, won first prize in the group consisting of senior professors, as did teacher Yuheng Zhao's team in the group of associate senior professors. Additionally, teacher Yiwen Yuan's team took second place in the intermediate and lower group, and all three teams won the excellent grassroots teaching organization award. Teacher Feipeng Ding from the School of Economics won second prize in the special contest for "Ideological and Political Education Curriculum" in the science and engineering group, and teacher Youchu Tong of the School of Public Finance and Taxation won third place in this special section in the liberal arts group. ZUFE also won the Outstanding Organization Award.
With the theme of "promoting innovation in teaching to develop first-class courses," a total of 147 contestants from 54 colleges and universities participated in this competition across the province. The aim of this competition is to fully implement the spirit of the National Education Conference and National Undergraduate Education Work Conference for Colleges and Universities in the New Era, adhere to the fundamental task of cultivating students through moral education, focus on innovation in teaching, guide college teachers to devote themselves to teaching and educating students with heart and soul, thus creating a strong atmosphere for colleges to pursue excellence in teaching.
