On May 5, the 2021 National Swimming Championship and the Tokyo Olympic Trials continued its race on the sixth day in Qingdao, Shandong Province. In the men's 100-meter freestyle, also known as the "Flying Fish Fight," student Junyi He from ZUFE won the championship with a score of 48.71 seconds.

Junyi He is an undergraduate student of the School of Business Administration, majoring in Marketing. He participated in the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games on behalf of the Chinese team and won the championship in men's 4×100m mixed relay. In the previous competition in China this year, he took the crown in the men's 100-meter freestyle in 48.57 seconds, which reached the Olympic A-standard level, and was hence qualified for the Tokyo Olympics.
