Recently, the curtain of the Third Sunshine Swimming Competition for Chinese college students opened in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Athletes from ZUFE achieved excellent results through their concerted efforts and hard work.

Under the guidance of coach Haoran Shi, the athletes won three gold medals, two silver medals and three bronze medals. Also, they won second place according to the total score among these teams, third among the men's teams, and fourth among the women's teams. Student Dongrui Li, from the School of Accounting, broke the record for the men's 200m medley and men's 200m butterfly. ZUFE and Mr. Shi, together with Li, won the "Sportsmanship Award."

This competition was sponsored by the Federation of University Sports of China and Chengdu Universiade Executive Committee, attracting 191 athletes from 39 institutions of higher education across the country. ZUFE sent 10 athletes in total to participate in this race.
