On June 24, the online and offline founding conference of the ZUFE Russian Alumni Association was held on ZUFE Xiasha Campus. Deputy Principal Li Zhanrong delivered a speech, and the heads of the School of International Education and Studies and the Office of Alumni and alumni representatives attended the conference.
On behalf of ZUFE, Mr. Li Zhanrong expressed his congratulation on the founding of the ZUFE Russian Alumni Association and introduced the education programs for international students and alumni-related work at ZUFE. He hoped that the association would play a bridging role and contribute to the cultural, economic, and social exchanges between China and Russia, and that the association was expected to act as a networking platform and a spiritual home for the ZUFE alumni community in Russia and help cement their bonds with ZUFE. Furthermore, he hoped that Russian alumni would come back and visit the alma mater once in a while.
At the conference, new leaders were elected for the alumni associations of Africa, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan. Speeches were delivered by the newly-elected presidents of the Russian Alumni Association FILINOVA ANNA, the deputy president of the African Alumni Association MANGANI EDNA, the deputy president of the Indonesian Alumni Association JANITRA EVAN YUNISMAN, and the deputy president of the Kazakh Alumni Association GUBAIDULIN VLADISLAV. They pledged to work as close links between ZUFE and their fellow alumni abroad.
The Russian Alumni Association is the 11th foreign alumni association of ZUFE. Efforts will be made to further strengthen the international alumni network, and various platforms will be built to promote the internationalization of ZUFE'as educational programs.
