ZUFE's Students Achieve Historic Best in the "Challenge Cup" National Competition

The final of the 18th "Challenge Cup" National College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition has recently concluded. Amidst fierce competition, ZUFE won one national grand prize and one national first prize in the "Red" Special Contest. This was the first time for the university to win the national grand prize in the "Challenge Cup" competition, achieving a historic breakthrough in award levels since our participation.

The “Challenge Cup” competition is hailed as the "Olympic" event for contemporary university students in the realm of scientific and technological innovation. It is currently the most prominent and popular national competition among university students in China. The 18th "Challenge Cup" National College Student Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition was jointly hosted by esteemed institutions including the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the All-China Students’ Federation and the People's Government of Guizhou Province. Since its launch, the competition has attracted over 2,000 universities and colleges, more than 400,000 entries, and over 2.5 million students from across the country.

ZUFE attaches great importance to the "Challenge Cup" competition. Under the keen oversight of the leadership, the joint efforts of various functional departments, the strong support from all schools, and the meticulous planning by the university's Youth League Committee, a series of activities have been successively carried out. These encompass activities such as the "Challenge Cup" university competition, thematic seminars related to contests, project incubation workshops, and intensive training sessions prior to competitions, which cover various areas including the development scenario of the "Challenge Cup", project topics, textual resources, and defense techniques. ZUFE will persistently utilize the "Challenge Cup" competition as a catalyst to facilitate the establishment of an enduring system for nurturing talent through scientific innovation contests. By deeply amalgamating diverse assets including students, educators, projects, and platforms, ZUFE aims to propel its innovative talent development to unprecedented heights.
