The 22nd China University Swimming Championships (Finals) concluded in Xiamen on December 6th. With unwavering dedication and unyielding effort, the swimmers from ZUFE won seven golds, two silvers, and a bronze, breaking seven national university records and securing the championship title in Group A back-to-back years.
Led by coaches Zuo Yufei and Shi Haoran, the swimmers in Group A clinched seven golds, two silvers, a fourth, six fifths, two sevenths, and an eighth place, setting seven event records and securing the top spot in the girls' team and the overall team in Group A. Additionally, the swimmers added to their medal count with a third and a seventh place in Group C, and a fifth and a sixth place in Group D.
This year's competition, hosted by the Federation of University Sports of China, saw a field of 538 swimmers from 80 esteemed universities, including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Fudan University, compete across four groups. ZUFE sent twenty athletes to participate in the event.
