Recently, three distinguished educators from ZUFE, Wang Zhoujing, Yang Shuiqing, and Liu Weishu, have been recognized among the world's most influential researchers, securing their place on Elsevier’s prestigious 2023 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list.

The 2023 "China Highly Cited Researchers" list has a total of 5,801 scholars on the list hailing from 496 universities, enterprises and scientific research institutions, covering 10 discipline fields and 84 first-level disciplines designated by the Ministry of Education.

The list draws upon Scopus, the globally recognized citation and index database, as the statistical source of scientific research achievements of Chinese scholars. Developed in collaboration with Shanghai Soft Science Education Information Consulting Co., Ltd., it meticulously showcases the distribution of talent within China's scientific research landscape. Moreover, it provides a nuanced portrayal of advantageous disciplines and academic influence of diverse institutions and universities, alongside the foremost talents in pivotal technological researches and key specialized domains.
