The 8th China Graduate Public Administration Case Competition (2024) was successfully conducted in Beijing on April 21. ZUFE's teams from the School of Public Administration (MPA School) captured a first and a third prize, and ZUFE was awarded the Excellent Organization Prize.

This competition attracted 2,597 teams from 260 universities nationwide, including participants from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. After fierce competition, two cases emerged as standouts. One was "Extraordinary Transition: How Can a Derelict Mine Become Treasure Hills? --Ten-Year Study on the Transformation by Heritage Application in Fanshan Town, Wenzhou" (team members: Yan Xin, Wo Yaoqiong, and Wang Yan), guided by mentors Zhong Weijun and Cao Shiyuan, winning a first prize; the other was "Factory Without Walls: How Can Surplus Rural Labor Transform into a Source of Wealth? –'An Analysis of the Common Wealth Workshop' Construction Practice in Linhai City" (team members: Wang Lingjun, Zheng Yu, and Fu Weiyi), mentored by mentor Zhong Weijun, receiving a third prize.

As a key event within the "China Graduate Innovation and Practice Series Competitions", China Graduate Public Management Case Competition was co-organized by the China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center and the Youth Science and Technology Center of the China Association for Science and Technology, and the National MPA Education Guidance Committee.
