On April 19, Amber Wang, Regional Coordinator for China and Mongolia at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Australia, and Ashley Zhu, Senior Business Manager, visited ZUFE's School of Public Finance and Taxation.
Fu Wenlin, Dean of the School of Public Finance and Taxation, introduced to the guests ZUFE's achievements in teaching research, talent cultivation, and internationalization of education in recent years. He stated that this year, the School of Public Finance and Taxation has been approved to offer a new major in international taxation, which requires more international exchanges and cooperation. He hoped that this visit will be an opportunity for both sides to further enhance friendship, deepen practical exchanges, and jointly build the international taxation major into a benchmark for cooperation between the two sides.
Amber Wang expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the school and briefly introduced QUT's recent developments in professional settings, disciplinary advantages, and international cooperation. She hoped that both sides could further strengthen cooperation, especially in promoting the in-depth implementation of the joint training program for international tax talents.
Both sides conducted in-depth consultations on educational cooperation projects such as "2+2", "3+1+1", and "3+1+1.5" in the field of international taxation. The leadership team of the School of Public Finance and Taxation, the head of the International Taxation BA Program, and Director of the International Office participated in the meeting.
