The inaugural meeting of the ZUFE Moroccan Alumni Association was held on June 13 at the Xiasha Campus of ZUFE. Vice President Zheng Yali attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The heads of the School of International Education, International Office, Alumni Affairs Office, and alumni representatives were also present.
On behalf of ZUFE, Zheng Yali expressed her heartfelt congratulations on the establishment of the ZUFE Moroccan Alumni Association. She stated that the association would serve as a platform for information exchange, resource sharing, and emotional connection between ZUFE and Moroccan alumni. It would also inject new vitality into the internationalization of the university’s education. She hoped that the Moroccan Alumni Association would continue to care for and support the development of ZUFE, fully play the role of a bridge for friendly communication between the two countries. She also called on the association to contribute more wisdom and strength to enhancing ZUFE’s international reputation and influence, fostering cultural, economic, and social exchanges and prosperity between China and Morocco, and deepening the friendship between the two peoples.
The newly elected Vice President of the Moroccan Alumni Association, Hajar Amadjahdi, expressed her commitment to maintaining close ties with ZUFE. She pledged to facilitate communication among Moroccan alumni and lead them to actively contribute to the friendly cultural and economic exchanges between China and Morocco.
The meeting approved the list of the association’s council members: Mouna Asli was appointed as the president, Hajar Amadjahdi and Mohammed Eljazoqli as vice presidents, Chafai El Mehdi as the secretary-general, and Fatimazahrae Azzam as the deputy secretary-general. Zheng Yali and relevant department heads presented the association’s flag and issued appointment letters to the council members.
The ZUFE Moroccan Alumni Association is ZUFE’s 12th overseas alumni association. ZUFE will continue to strengthen the construction of international alumni associations, build international communication platforms, and continue to promote international education communication.
