The 7th National College Students Arts Festival, co-hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Hubei Provincial People’s Government, recently concluded in Xiangyang, Hubei Province. After a hard-fought competition, ZUFE won three national accolades. Among them, Zufers clinched one second prize for dance piece Bright She Girls (畲家女儿水灵灵) presented by the Art Troupe, and two second prizes for dance performance Whispers of the Trees (树说) and instrumental piece Hans Heiling: Overture (汉斯·海灵序曲) from the Dongfang College.

The National College Students Arts Festival stands as the pinnacle of artistic events for college students in China. It is the highest-standard, largest-scale, and most influential event of its kind, thereby serving as a crucial platform for evaluating the achievements of art education in higher education institutions. This year’s festival, themed “Fostering Patriotism and Cultivating an Entrepreneurial”, attracted over 7,400 faculty and students from 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Macao Special Administrative Region. Together, they showcased 282 diverse projects in the event.

ZUFE has been committed to cultivating students along with beauty and culture, placing a high value on public art education in recent years. Zufers’ diverse art works have seen remarkable improvements, not only within the province but also at the National College Students Arts Festival.
