On April 1, Dr. Matthias Dolzapf, Director of International Programmes at St John’s College, University of Cambridge, led a delegation to visit the university. Vice President Zheng Yali warmly received the guests.

Zheng Yali extended a warm welcome to the visitors and briefed them on the university’s latest development as well as the internationalization of its education. She stated that in recent years, both sides have engaged in frequent and fruitful exchanges in faculty visits, student exchanges, and academic research. ZUFE has sent over 50 faculty members and students to visit and study at the University of Cambridge and has invited two groups of Cambridge students for exchange visits. She hoped that this visit would serve as an opportunity to further deepen the friendly relationship, explore more areas for cooperation, and achieve win-win outcomes.

Dolzapf stated that St John’s College, University of Cambridge, is willing to actively promote cooperation in talent cultivation and cultural exchanges, and looks forward to more interactions between the faculty and students of both universities in the future, enhancing mutual understanding and academic collaboration.

During the visit, Dolzapf delivered a presentation on the application process for Cambridge’s master’s programmes, providing detailed information to students interested in pursuing further studies at the University of Cambridge, including specialized programmes, teaching facilities, career development, and scholarship policies of St John’s College.
