As the July college admission season unfolds, ZUFE is celebrating a major success. On July 21, the first-round parallel admission for regular undergraduate programs in Zhejiang Province was finalized. ZUFE secured full enrollment for both its “Trinity” comprehensive evaluation program and its first-round regular admission in one go. While expanding its enrollment quota within the province, ZUFE filled all its planned spots, and achieved a significant leap in admission quality. This year’s highest admission score reached 654. All freshmen admitted to the School of Wenhua Innovation ranked within the top 25,000 in the provincial college entrance examination. ZUFE’s overall minimum admission ranking strategically improved by over 20,000 places. More than half of its undergraduate programs or program categories saw higher admission rankings compared to last year, with all programs requiring Physics or both Physics-Chemistry, posting substantial gains. This strong performance reflects ZUFE’s growing appeal among top students and broad societal recognition of its strength.
School of Wenhua Innovation: All Students Secure Elite Ranking Positions
As ZUFE’s honors college committed to the talent cultivation philosophy of “solid foundation, deep integration, and strong innovation,” the School of Wenhua Innovation serves as a pilot and demonstration base for cultivating outstanding talents under the “"New Finance and Economics Strategy"”. In this year’s enrollment, its three flagship fundamental disciplines all hit record highs. Every admitted student ranked within the top 25,000 in Zhejiang’s college entrance examination, a standout statistic that demonstrates the formidable strength of this honors college.
Accounting (Digital & Intelligent Accounting Top-notch Class) led the way with a top admission score of 649 and a cutoff of 642, firmly setting its admissions threshold among the top 3.8% of province-wide applicants. Law (Digital & Intelligent Law Top-notch Class) recorded a peak score of 641 and a cutoff of 637, enrolling all its students within the top 4.7% province-wide. Finance (Intelligent Finance Fundamental Class) posted a peak score of 639 and a cutoff of 629, placing its entire cohort within the top 6% province-wide. Together, these three flagship programs represent ZUFE’s commitment to cultivating top-tier talent.

Comprehensive Surge: Admission Ranking Jumps by Over 20,000 Places as High-Score Pool Expands
Guided by the “"New Finance and Economics Strategy"”, ZUFE’s diversified talent development system has won strong favor among college applicants and the public. Enrollment quality has achieved comprehensive progress this year, with all in-province admitted students ranking among the top 17% province-wide and multiple core indicators hitting record highs. The highest admission score reached 654, securing a provincial ranking of approximately 9,000, an improvement of about 4,000 places from last year. The minimum admission ranking saw a significant leap, soaring by more than 20,000 spots year on year. Over half of ZUFE’s majors or program categories posted higher admission rankings. More than half of all enrolled students rank within the top 10% province-wide, while the proportion of students from the top 5% rose year on year by 1.1 percentage points. The overall average admission score stands 20 points above the Provincial Special Control Line, a 4-point gain year on year, further cementing ZUFE’s growing reputation for academic excellence.

Program Clusters: Physics and Physics-Chemistry Programs Deliver Impressive Gains as Half the Majors Hit New Highs in Rankings
Guided by the integrated development strategy that integrates interdisciplinary synergy of finance & economics, digital intelligence technology and humanistic literacy, ZUFE’s competitive program clusters achieved broad-based gains. Programs requiring Physics or both Physics-Chemistry stood out as the major driving force behind the overall admission upgrade, with their average admission ranking advancing by 8,586 places. Accounting (Digital & Intelligent Accounting Top-notch Class) secured a provincial ranking of approximately 15,000, up 5,441 spots from last year; Law (Digital & Intelligent Law Top-notch Class) broke into the top 20,000 bracket up 1,498 places. Flagship majors including Finance (Intelligent Finance Fundamental Class), Law and Accounting remain within the top 30,000 rankings. Over half of ZUFE's enrollment programs recorded continuous ranking improvements, with more than 50% of enrollment falling within the top 10% of the province. The proportion of top 5% students increased by 1.1% year-on-year, and the overall average score exceeded the provincial special control line by 20 points, 4 points higher than last year. Other majors such as Auditing, Chinese Language and Literature, Financial Management and Public Finance completed enrollment with rankings within the top 40,000. These achievements reflect coordinated progress in major development and student intake quality.
This year’s enrollment hitting a new record reflects ZUFE’s growing academic strength, ongoing innovation in talent cultivation, improving campus ethos and rising public recognition. Above all, it is attributable to the joint endeavors of the entire faculty and student body as they advance the implementation of the “"New Finance and Economics Strategy"”. Going forward, ZUFE will stay true to its founding mission of talent cultivation, further strengthen its academic programs, and nurture “K+MAQ”-oriented ZUFE finance talents.
