From August 21 to 25, the 13th Asia-Pacific College Students Market Survey and Analysis Competition Finals and the 2025 Asia-Pacific Statistics and Data Science Academic Conference were successfully held in Malaysia, co-hosted by the China Commercial Statistics Society and the Chinese Applied Statistics Society, and organized by Twintech University of Technology Malaysia. After fierce competition, the team from ZUFE, co-advised by Li Jinchang and Sun Jie, won the first prize in the finals.

As the highest-level event of its kind, this competition was the first finals held after the official upgrade from the Cross-Strait College Students Market Survey and Analysis Competition (held for 12 sessions) to the Asia-Pacific level. It serves as an important platform connecting universities across the Asia-Pacific region, promoting international exchange among young students and expanding their global vision. Set against the backdrop of the Big Data Era and centered on Market Survey and Analysis, the competition aims to guide college students in innovation and entrepreneurship.

In recent years, the university has continuously deepened the guidance of the “"New Finance and Economics Strategy"”, building an Integrated Education System of Teaching-Practice-Competition that promotes the comprehensive improvement of students’ innovation and practical abilities. For this competition, various departments and schools worked collaboratively, successively hosting the University-level Selection, Regional Finals, and National Finals. Through systematic training including thematic training, project polishing, and mock roadshows, the university continuously optimized competition entries and strengthened team collaboration, ultimately achieving outstanding results. The competition effectively expanded students’ professional knowledge boundaries and improved practical application skills, injecting strong momentum into the cultivation of high-quality innovative talents in the context of the New Finance and Economics .
