On September 24, the school held a meeting to promote the work of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools. Vice President Zheng Yali attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Heads of relevant functional departments and main heads of various colleges attended the meeting.

Zheng Yali put forward three requirements for the work of Chinese-Foreign cooperation in running schools: First, improve the position and build consensus. It is necessary to fully understand the importance of Chinese-Foreign cooperation in running schools from the perspective of building a powerful country in education, actively meet the needs of Zhejiang to build a high-level opening-up strong province, and boost the development of high-level universities. Second, conduct systematic planning and advance coordinated collaboration. We will improve the working mechanism, strengthen overall planning and guarantee, establish a synergy mechanism of “school overall planning, departmental linkage and college main body”, and encourage different disciplines and colleges to strengthen cooperation and form synergy. Third, clarify the direction and seize opportunities. It is necessary to focus on the quality of talent training and the improvement of discipline construction level, effectively integrate the characteristic disciplines and majors of the school, and actively promote the application work.

At the meeting, the head of the International Office briefed on the latest policy of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools, and a high-caliber opening-up strong province. Combined with the realities, the heads of each college conducted in-depth discussions around the work foundation, opportunities and challenges, and the path to break the situation.
