On August 2, SJCEIECPC, co-sponsored by ZUFE, Kansai University of Japan, Zhejiang Province Calligraphers Association, and Zhejiang Province Educational Calligraphers Association, was held in Osaka, Japan. Jianxin Huang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of ZUFE, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Nearly 60 guests including professor Keiichi Uchida, director of the Asian Studies Center of Kansai University, professor Guowei Shen, director of the Institute of East-West Studies, professor Demin Tao, the first president of the International Association of East Asian Cultural Interactions, artists, representative teachers and students from China and Japan attended the opening ceremony.
More than 180 works by Chinese and Japanese artists, teachers and students were exhibited. Among them, 59 were works of teachers and students of ZUFE. The exhibition coincided with Kansai University's open campus day, attracting nearly 1,000 faculty, students and parents.
Jianxin Huang and his entourage also attended the 2019 East-West Cultural Exchange International Symposium, the Sino-Japanese Artists Symposium and PEN Club Session and other activities, visited alumni studying and working in Japan and sincerely invited them to return to the school to participate in the 45th anniversary celebration of ZUFE.
This exhibition reflects how ZUFE actively responds to the "Belt And Road" Initiative proposed by General Secretary Jinping Xi and implements "Go Out" strategy of the Chinese culture, which has played a positive role in promoting traditional Chinese culture and enhancing Sino-Japanese cultural exchanges.
